What is Five-Stand Clay Shooting?
Five-stand clay shooting combines the best elements of sporting clays and skeet shooting into a compact, fast-paced clay-shooting experience. Our covered five-stand facility provides a variety of sporting clays without requiring a large course, making it perfect for both new and experienced clay shooters. Best of all, our enclosed five-stand allows year-round clay shooting regardless of weather conditions.
Our Covered & Heated Five-Stand Layout
Our five-stand clay shooting station consists of six shooting positions arranged in a line under our covered, enclosed facility. This weather-protected design enables year-round clay target shooting even during Indiana’s harsh winter months. Six to eight automated clay target throwers are strategically positioned in the field in front of the shooting stations. Each station features a menu card displaying the specific target sequence for that position.
How Five-Stand Clay Shooting Works
Clay shooters move through all stations, engaging both single and double clay targets at each position. Our five-stand targets simulate realistic hunting scenarios with crossing, incoming, outgoing, rabbit, wobble, and arching clay target presentations. Each round of five-stand clay shooting typically consists of 25 targets, with different combinations of targets thrown at each station to challenge shooters of all skill levels.
